2. Eligibility & Age Requirement
To use Polygon Gaming and associated services, you represent and warrant that:

4. Non-Custodial Architecture & Account Security
Zero-Custody Principle: Polygon Gaming operates on a strictly non-custodial model. We NEVER hold, request, or have access to your external wallet private keys, recovery seed phrases, or wallet passwords.
You maintain exclusive custody and control over your external Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect). You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials, hardware devices, and transaction signers.
- Synthetic Identities: Player accounts on polygongaming.io use a synthetic identifier (
player_id) that binds to your Google OAuth session or your verified Polygon address (linked_wallet_address).
- Cryptographic Binding: Linking an external wallet to your profile requires an EIP-191 / Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) cryptographic signature verification. No gas is spent and no private keys are exposed during signature challenges.
- Transactions Are Final: Any transfer sent from your wallet or approved via a smart contract interaction is irreversible on the Polygon blockchain. Polygon Gaming cannot recover funds sent to erroneous addresses or stolen through compromised personal devices.
5. Anti-Cheat, Fair Play & Sybil Defense Policy
Strict 1 Account Per Person & Single Active Session Policy: Multi-accounting, playing multiple games at once (multi-tabbing or concurrent parallel sessions), sybil attacks, automated farming scripts, cheat engines, or memory injection will result in an immediate, permanent ban and forfeiture of platform balances.
To preserve game balance and economic fairness for genuine players, we enforce zero-tolerance anti-cheat policies:
- No Concurrent Sessions / Multi-Tabbing (One Game at a Time): You agree to play strictly one game session at a time. Playing multiple games at once, opening parallel game sessions across multiple browser tabs, windows, devices, or virtual environments, or executing automated background games while playing another game in the foreground is strictly prohibited. Spawning concurrent sessions to artificially multiply token yields, bypass cooldowns, or accelerate quest/tournament progression is treated as an automated exploit. Any concurrent sessions will be invalidated, associated earnings forfeited, and offending accounts subject to permanent bans.
- Prohibited Exploits: You agree not to use bots, macros, autohotkey scripts, speedhacks, modified web clients, memory sniffers, multi-tab spawning macros, or automated network replay tools to manipulate games, play multiple games at once, or farm faucet/arcade rewards.
- Balance Integrity: All token balances, payouts, and multiplier calculations are guarded server-side by PostgreSQL tripwires (
prevent_direct_balance_mutation). Any unauthorized direct modification attempt triggers an automatic security freeze.
- Anti-Sybil Farming: Running automated networks of disposable accounts, cycling IP addresses through proxies, or forging referral chains to extract unearned faucet/marketplace rewards is strictly prohibited.
- Penalties: Accounts detected violating these terms will be marked as banned (
is_banned = true), disqualified from active tournaments, and blacklisted from current and future reward distributions.

7. Blockchain Transactions & Gas Fees
When you interact with the Polygon blockchain through our platform:
- Network Gas Fees: All on-chain actions (deposits, withdrawals, NFT minting, referral marketplace purchases) require network gas fees paid in POL to Polygon network validators. Gas fees are independent of Polygon Gaming and are entirely non-refundable.
- RPC Downtimes & Reorgs: Polygon Gaming is not liable for transaction delays, failed transactions, slippage, or blockchain reorganizations caused by third-party RPC nodes or network congestion.
8. Intellectual Property Rights

- Loss of tokens, NFTs, or profits resulting from user error, lost private keys, phishing attacks, or compromised user hardware.
- Any technical malfunction, smart contract bug, exploit, or downtime affecting third-party services including MetaMask, WalletConnect, Supabase, Cloudflare, or the Polygon PoS network.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or account data.
10. Account Inactivity & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or access to the platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent activities. Unlinked guest profiles with zero activity for 12 consecutive months may be archived to maintain database hygiene.
11. Modifications to Terms
